The Angels and Archangels each grant a special Power, and we can call on a specific Angel to grant us this Power when in need. The Archangel Jeremiel can be called on when we find ourselves in turmoil, for he is the transmitter of dreams and visions of hope.

The Tradition

Jeremiel is listed as one of the seven Archangels in the Book of Enoch, and he is referenced in other non-canonical books. He is also recognized in many of the Eastern Orthodox traditions and Coptic books. Over the centuries he has sometimes been referred to as Jerahmeel, Ramiel, or Remihel.

Role and Symbols

Inspiring hope through visions and dreams is Jeremiel’s main role, but he is also known for encouraging people to become aware of their thoughts and emotions, to take lessons from their experience, and to resolve to make changes. Jeremiel is associated with clairvoyance, which means “to see clearly”, to the color violet, and to the crystal Amethyst.

Those that find themselves in moments of instability and that therefore seek light can call on Jeremiel. By inspiring dreams and visions of hope, he communicates motivational messages. He encourages people to evaluate their lives and learn from their mistakes, and inspires them to make changes, seek new directions, and achieve fulfillment.
